Online Resources I Use
This is a list of links to resources on the web that I use in my Traveller campaign.
The Cepheus Engine System Reference Document online HTML version: I love this so much. Been using it to roll up NPCs, since it is easily useable without any conversion for Classic Traveller. You could use the SRD to run a game forever and never need another book.
Cepheus Journal Subsector Editor and Mapper: I keep my subsector data saved in the proper text format. I can dump them into this to edit them and redraw the map. I download the image of the map and use Adobe Photoshop to draw in a layer for borders and other info.
Subsector Generator/Editor on the Zhodani Base - works the same.
Grav Bike image from Yet Another Traveller Blog, by Robert Pearce. I actually save a lot of images by Robert, as he just doe such great work. His Starship Geomorphs are very useful.
MeshPLUS armor - my own homebrew Traveller armor designed to work like that worn by Earl in the Dumarest novels.
A Cepheus Light Vehicle Chase, from the Ancient Faith in the Far Future blog. A great example of how to use these rules.
Our own homebrew vehicle combat rules
Our own Cinematic Ship Combat Rules
Far Future Enterprises - the company of Marc Miller, inventor of Traveller. This is where I’ve purchased the CD-ROMS containing all the great old Traveller materials for very low prices.
Behind the Claw, the podcast about Classic Traveller, by Felbrigg Herriot. I listen to these episodes once a year for inspiratiion.
Michael Brown’s materials on DriveThru RPG - I love Michael’s adventures, and pretty much buy all of them.
Adventures in the Distant Fringe: an awesome blog for a Cepheus Engine campaign. Very inspirational.
